Divisions are an NBA Live Mobile feature that allocates players in groups based on their performance. This is a common system for competitive games. NBA Live Mobile has multiple divisions. Players start in the lowest division and work their way up to the highest division. This is done by playing competitive matches called head to head. When players open the head to head map, they will see other users from the same division. These are the players that can be challenged to a match. The game always displays players from the same division so users won’t be unfairly matched against players with better skills. The objective is to promote to higher divisions and to get rewards.
NBA Live Mobile division promotion works based on fans. This is a reward obtained when playing head to head matches. After each match, players get a certain number of fan. The maximum number of fans is obtained when winning a match but playing quarters is rewarded with fans as well. Each division has promotion requirements. Players can see in game how many fans they need to advance to the next division.
The number of fans decreases if players lose matches. This means that players can be demoted to a lower division if their number of fans is smaller than the current division’s requirements. Players will want to take control of their basketball players during head to head matches. Auto-play works for season mode but it’s not that reliable when playing in higher divisions. Each time players get promoted to a higher division they get rewards. Being in a higher division has a number of benefits. As players work their way up, they will notice that they get more XP and coins when they win a head to head match. Coins are spent on packs containing basketball player cards. XP is used to level up the player’s profile. Leveling has benefits as well such as stamina refill.
